Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm, 40g Description Clinically proven to support wound healing, Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm is formulated for very dry, cracked and irritated skin. This water-free ointment creates a gentle, semi-occlusive protective layer over the skin. This barrier allows the natural movement of water vapor and oxygen, enabling the skin to breathe while reinforcing its natural protective function. The formula contains Glycerin, which draws moisture into the skin and helps retain it. Panthenol works in combination to promote skin regeneration and repair while providing additional moisturization. The balm contains no fragrance or preservatives, making it suitable for sensitive skin and newborns. This transparent ointment applies smoothly and can be massaged into targeted areas including knees, elbows, cracked knuckles, cuticles and heels. Its minimal ingredient list is generally well tolerated by sensitive skin. It may be used on babies and children, for minor burns, and on skin following superficial dermatological procedures such as laser treatments and chemical peels. The skin is left regenerated, protected and repaired. How to use 1. Apply to affected areas as often as required. 2. For both hands, a small fingertip amount is usually sufficient. Use a medium fingertip amount for problem areas on an infant's skin, and a slightly larger quantity for each foot. 3. Warm the ointment between your fingertips and massage into the skin. It spreads more easily once warmed. 4. Avoid use on open, bleeding or wet wounds. Allow skin to re-epithelialize before application.
