Description Medtextile Knee Support Fixative-6037-S/XL is designed for inflammatory and degenerative conditions of the knee joint in early stages, including arthritis, synovitis, periarticular edema, bursitis, and arthrosis, where warming support is not contraindicated. It also assists in preventing knee and kneecap injuries during sports and physical activity, managing chronic kneecap instability with recurrent subluxation, and supporting rehabilitation of knee injuries and ligamentous laxity in the subacute phase or during midterm and late recovery after cast removal. This knee support provides moderate fixation with gentle compression of the knee joint, limiting lateral movement during standing or high-impact walking. Fixation and unloading of the joint help relieve pain. Warm retention combined with a micro-massage effect supports blood circulation in soft tissues. The compression action reduces pain and edema. Additional straps stabilize the knee during walking and ensure secure positioning of the support. The separable design allows easy application over the knee. It can be fitted even when swelling or significant deformity is present. An aperture with an elastic pad-ring limits kneecap mobility. Suitable for use on either the left or right leg.
