Description Otrivine Allergy Nasal Spray contains xylometazoline hydrochloride as its active ingredient. This works by reducing nasal mucus and shrinking swollen blood vessels in the nasal passages, helping to open and clear blocked noses. The spray provides relief from nasal congestion caused by allergies, including hay fever and pet dander. It begins to unblock the nose within 2 minutes, with effects that last for several hours. How to use Use one spray in each nostril up to three times daily. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days. Read the package insert for complete directions before use. Warnings Not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor. Avoid use if you have recently undergone nasal surgery or have narrow-angle glaucoma.
