Trimex Diabetic Expectorant 100ml is indicated for dry irritating coughs in patients with diabetes. Description This preparation is also used to manage worsening inflammation of the bronchial tube lining in the lungs. It is a prescription-only medicine. Products containing narcotic ingredients should ideally be used for short-term treatment, as addiction and dependency may develop. Pholcodeine has lower addictive potential and causes less drowsiness and dependency than codeine or dextromethorphan. Class: Mucolytics/expectorants (respiratory system drugs). Indications: Respiratory conditions with excessive mucous secretion.
